How it all started
Once upon a time our founder Aimable suffered from problematic skin. He visited a dermatologist, who prescribed medication, and he was advised to take over-the-counter products recommended to clear his acne. Yet these failed to deliver visible results, apart from when he used Benzoyl Peroxide 10% – which left his skin feeling damaged and certainly didn’t clear up his acne!
Frustrated, he decided to take matters into his own hands, by studying skincare ingredients and learning how to manufacture his own skincare products. Over time his skin healed, whilst not flawless, it looked and felt a lot healthier. Seeing these results was a positive turn of events. Knowing how many other people suffered from the same skincare concerns, he decided to turn his side-line into a business, by becoming a manufacturer of skincare products for people suffering from acne, blemish-prone, and problematic skin.
Our formulas
We believe that natural and clean beauty shouldn’t compromise product performance. All of our skincare products are made with 100% organic ingredients and extracts. They are free of toxins and use only clean formulas without any parabens, sulfates, PEGs, or mineral oil. We prioritize sustainable sourcing and try to use local ingredients when possible.
Sustainable packaging
We use glass packaging as part of our efforts to reduce plastic waste reaching landfills and our oceans. It is possible to infinitely recycle glass without losing its strength (unlike plastic), and if not recycled, it can be reused, making it an ideal long-term solution. To protect our environment, we need to do more than just recycle plastic; we need to find better, more sustainable packaging materials like glass.
